Non - skiers
Apart from the skiing and boarding, Saint Martin and the surrounding
area has a lot to offer. For a start, you will find many authentic
Savoyard villages (including Saint Martin it's self) where
local life still carries on side by side with the winter visitors.
Small shops stock regional produce and crafts and the restaurants
offer a wide variety of dishes to cater for every taste.
There are many activities available, all of which can be arranged
locally. Alternatively, we can put together a tailor made package
for you on request.

Snow
Shoe Treks
Several marked pedestrian paths allow
you to walk and discover the numerous Belleville hamlets
in a superb landscape. There are a multitude of guided snowshoe
outings run by the local ski school or you can just follow
the marked paths giving you the opportunity to discover this
rich area and some wonderful views.
If you wish to see some really wild scenery and maybe some
of the fantastic wildlife in the area you have to head further
off the beaten track – we will happily point you in the right
direction or can guide you on request. |
Dog Sledding
It doesn't come much better than this! Try dog sledding
at Saint Martin de Belleville alongside the river.

Snowmobiles
A range of snowmobile excursions are available each day, booked locally. You
are able to drive yourself or ride pillion with an instructor if you prefer. |
| Cross Country Skiing
Everyone can discover the joys of cross country
skiing and there are 28km of pisted tracks in the belleville
valley. Access to the cross country piste is free.
Luge Land
Young and old alike can slide down on large inflatable rings,
on two 200 m long slopes, protected by crash barriers.
The slopes have been specially created and landscaped to give maximum fun. After
the thrill of the descent, you are pulled back up to the top on your inflatable
ring, attached to a cable.
Apres Ski |
The focus for après ski is in the nearby village of
Saint Martin de Belleville where there are about a dozen restaurants
and bars.
On the whole, it would be fair to say the nightlife is fairly
low key – great for traditional mountain bars and open fires
as well as a selection of restaurants offering everything from
pizza to gourmet french cuisine.
Many skiers and borders congregate at the Piano Bar to reminisce
over the day's events before heading back for dinner. If you
have the energy to go out again afterwards, Brewski's have
live bands each week as part of their busy weekly schedule,
the Piano bar has Karaoke and Rock and Roll and we've heard
there's the occasionally mad party to be had at Bar Restaurant
de la Loy!
If you want to go clubbing every night,
Saint Martin probably isn't for you – the nearest night club
is 25 minutes away at Les Menuires
